Anthurium Itacar£, near the mouth of the Pdo de Contas. Coastal evergreen forest with disturbed margins, rocks by the sea, and semi- cultivated ground. This plant growing on shaded rocks by the sea, Alt. Sea level. Approx. 38°59’V/, 14°18’S. Herb with stout creeping rhizome and fleshy pale roots. Leaves rather brirht green, glossy above, paler beneath with darker veins. Inflorescence with greenish spathe, tinged pink, turning brown.
