100 miles N.W. of Cocha-bamba, across
the Tunari range. Lower and steeper
slopes covered with forest, the rest
pasture, cultivated at intervals. Good
flora both flowering plants and ferns.
From 12,000 ft. upwards, constant cloud
or rain in summer, lifting occasionally,
