Brushy areas and trees along fencerows and in pastures, flat,
sandy, originally probably subtropical semi-deciduous
forest. With Lonchocarpus pluvialis, Cecropia polystachya,
and scattered Acrocomia aculeata, Attalea phalerata.
17°30’S, 63°05’W. alt. 320 m.
1 m. tall. In pasture on disturbed soil. Inflorescence erect,
yellow-green.
