Coord, ex GPS 36°37'55"S, 141°44'31"E; preen 1 Common locally, over 30 plants. Mallee broombush community of Eucalyptus baxteri with Euc[alyptus] incrassata over Melaleuca uncinata over Leptospermum, Acacia, Calytrix, Hibbertia, Grevillea cf. ilicifolia Spyridium ’Little Desert’ on brown-white sand. Shrubs to c. 1 m high, single stemmed. Leaves mid becoming dark-green, with scattered stellate hairs; stipules free, overlapping, mid to deepish brown.5 Inflorescence subtending leaves, blue-grey pubescent. Inflorescence off-white pubescent. Calyx cream-white. Petals, white as bud opens, turning mid-yellow then (post anthesis) with the calyx turning brown-white. Anthers deep brown * and white, pollen (on stigmas) mid-yellow.
