Gran Chaco, 5 km E of center of Villa Montes, on old road to Paraguay (not highway currently under construction) and 3.6 km E of the big fish monument on the Camiri-Yacuiba highway. 21°16’25”S, 63°25’36”W. alt. 370 m. Flat chaco woodland, disturbed and with a tree strata mostly of Prosopis chilensis. Tree 4 m. tall, 20 cm. in diameter; sap milky. Fruit green, the inner parts red when the capsule opens. Coll.: M.
