Liesner(MO), 1997 Sipaliwini Vicinity of Blanche Marie Waterfall on the Nickerie River. 04°45*30"N 056°52’40 "W 50 m Primary lowland wet forest. Tree, 10 m tall, apparently monoecious; trunk with scant clear to pale yellow sticky resin; leaves alternate, often clustered at apex of branches so as to appear subopposite, coriaceous, quite variable in size, smaller near inflorescences, petiole with double pulvinus at base and apex, blade with Randy Evans, Robyn Burnham & Sylva Koemar 2740 MISSOURI BOTANICAL GARDEN HERBARIUM (MO) very small yellow dots (not apparently round, some linear); female flowers with 5 reddish-brown/green tepals, 5 stigma lobes, male flowers in bud, apparently 5 tepals, 5 pink stamens; only 1 fruit found, it immature, green, globose. 14 June 1997 Randy Evans, Robyn Burnham & Sylva Koemar 2740 MISSOURI BOTANICAL GARDEN HERBARIUM (MO) 04091866
