PLANTS OF THE CAROLINE ISLANDS Phyllanthus amarus Schumach, & Thonn. EUPHORBIACEAE ^ CAROLINE ISLANDS POHNPB: Nett Municipality, Kolonia; grounds of old Japanese Agricultural Experiment Station (now called Pohnpei Botanical Garden); old tree plantings and abandoned weedy areas. Herb with erect, red tinged stems to 30-40 cm tall, leavf margins red tinged, fruit green. Rooting in cracks and moist soil deposits on rood and walls of Japanese Agriculture Station building.
