Ritter (NHA), 1998 Department of Santa Cruz Province of Angel Sandoval A large cove at the southern end of Laguna Mandiore. Separated from the main body of the lake by a narrow spit of land. Elevation approximately 90 m. Center of collecting: 18014'12"S. 57°37'38"W. Free-floating macrophyte. Leaves green when young, becoming red. Occasional. Habitat: very loose aggregation of floating species with scattered emergent shrubs. Dominated by Ludwigia helminthorrhiza, with smaller amounts of Salvinia sp., Pistia stratiotes and Polygonum sp. 7/15/98 Collected by: N. Ritter, G. E. Crow , M. Garvizu and C.
