village of Corozal, 6 km from Maniapure toward
Caicara, 6°55'N, 66°30'W. Semideciduous forest
on granitic slopes and savanna, 400 m elev.
Ecological inventory voucher: Plot 22, tree 631.
Tree 15 m tall, 18.2 cm DBH. Not buttresses.
Outer bark dark brown, mealy; inner bark hard,
light orange, mottled with darker orange. No
exudate. No Panare name.
