SW of Base Camp, SW side of Cerro de la Neblina. 00°49fN, 66°10'W alt. 200 m. Tropical evergreen lowland forest on steep slopes of hills. Slender tree 7 m. tall, 5 cm. in diameter. Flowering inflorescences greenish, ± hanging. Fruit very few, erect, green, a typical euphor- biaceous tricoccous capsule, ca. 1 cm. in diameter, splitting during drying.
