PLANTAE VENEZUELANAE AMAZONAS No 9460 Mlcrandra sl'Dhonloides Buttressed tree 100 ft. tall, 2 l/2 ft. in dia- meter, columnar, with spreading crown, ^ruit small. Flowers yellow, faintly fragrant. I*atex very thick, white, coagulating rapidly to a fairly elastic gam, not abundant. Bark “below near buttresses a reddish brown, above greyish, relatively smooth, 1 in. thick, deep scarlet inside.
