Senecio vulgaris L.
Herb 10-40 cm high. Stem tinged purple, more so
basally Leaf slightly fleshy, spongy, deep green above;
arey-green to purple below. Involucre bracts green, tips
dying lower ones brown at apex, upper ones black at
aDex Corolla tube pale green, upper portion and lobes
vellow. Ovary white. Common weed in disturbed sites.
