Production Unit. West of camp site. 467 m. 11°47'08"S 72°41'57"W. Primary, moist,
lowland, non-flooded forest dominated by bamboo (Guadua). Wet season.
Shrub 2 m tall; leaves deeply 3-5-lobed; staminate flowers: calyx whitish outside, reddish
blotched internally; pistillate flowers: corolla rotate yellowish green, with burgundy spot on
central portion of petal on abaxial side; flower disc orange-red ; fruit trilocular. Specimens
preserved in 55% ethanol before drying.
