Habitat
Open grassy slopes with marshy ground; low shrubs and low evergreen woodland in valleys by small stream and in shelter of sandstone rocks.

Description
Shrub to 2 m. Leaves coriaceous, dark, slightly glossy green above, grey-buff beneath with fawn veins. Calyx pale green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
