Shrub, 1.5m; stem grey with yellow lenticels; petiole red; veins red/white; roots cylindri- cal,horizontal,thin,surface color red-orange, inner skin cream-yellow, pulp cream-colored. n.v.: aEemam (ot=bird. The stripes on the stem are like birds.) Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into 'Masato1 (cassava beer). J. Salick and S.
