Shrub, lm; stem red; petiole dark red;
veins red/green; sepals green; disc red;
ovary green w. burgundy wing; root peeling,
surface color brown, pulp white/cream.
n.v.: meshtamam (Mishet=carachama, a very
scaly fish)
Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into
'Masato' (cassava beer).
