3-4 yrs.
Shrub, 3.5m; stem silvery; petiole green;
veins yellow; sepals yellow w/pale red, disc
burgundy, ovary green w/red wings; roots fusi-
form, horizontal, orange outside, pulp yellow.

Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into
'Masato1 (cassava beer).
