Agricultural field of Rosa Lourdes; informant:
Inez Francisco. Field flat, floods once every
3-4 yrs.
Shrub, 3m; stem silvery, light brown; petiole
red; veins pink-green; sepals yellow, disc red,
ovary green w/burgundy wings; roots conical,
horizontal, surface color orange, pulp white.
n.v.: sharehuamam (named after the Sharehua
family)
Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into
'Masato' (cassava beer).
