Shrub 3m; stem red/beige/silver; petiole pink; veins pink; sepals white, disc red, ovary green w/burgundy; roots fusiform, hori- zontal, surface color orange/brown, pulp yellow. n.v.: nevachomam (nevate or nevacho=pichio) Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into 'Masato' (cassava beer).
