Shrub, 3m; stem silver-beige; petiole
burgundy; veins pink; roots fusiform, hori-
zontal, short, surface color orange, pulp
white.
n.v.: meretomam (means a little fish)
Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into
'Masato' (cassava beer).
