green w/burgundy wings;roots cylindrical»hori-
zontal , long, red-orange with cream colored pulp.
n.v.: velamam (this yuca was brought from Sta.
Maria on Rio Pachitea by an old man from Palma)
Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into
'Masato' (cassava beer).
