Shrub, 3m; stem silver/beige; petiole pink/
green;veins pink-white;sepals cream w/burgundy,
disc purple,ovary green/burgundy,roots conical,
horizontal, rough, brown outside, pulp white,
n.v.: poc ofemam (signifies Connarus sp., a
water vine)
Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into
'Masato' (cassava beer).
