Shrub, 3m; stem silver/yellow; petiole red;
veins red; sepals yellow/burgundy, disc orange,
ovary green w/red wings; roots conical, hori-
zontal, smooth, surface beige, pulp cream-
colored.
n.v.: yapamam (named after the Agouti paca)
Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into
'Masato' (cassava beer).
