Shrub, 2.5m; stem burgundy; petiole burgun-
dy; veins red; sepals green/burgundy; ovary
green with burgundy wings; root conical, hori-
zontal, surface color orange/brown,pulp yellow.
n.v.: chebe’huamam (women's music about
cassava)
Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into
'Masato' (cassava beer).
