Shrub, 3m; stem grey-silver; petiole burgun-
dy; veins red; sepals green/red, disc burgundy,
ovary green w/burgundy wings; roots fusiform,
horizontal, brown-tan outside with white pulp,
n.v.: somemam
Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into
'Masato' (cassava beer).
