Shrub, 3m; stem grey; petiole burgundy; veins pink; roots fusiform, horizontal, thin, surface color red-brown, inner skin color white-cream, pulp white. n.v.: aspanamam (this yuca is preferred in the market in Oxapampa, because it is very white) Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into 'Masato' (cassava beer).
