Shrub, 2m; petiole green; veins white;
sepals white/pink, disc orange, ovary
green/burgundy; roots fusiform, thick, sur-
face color orange-brown, pulp cream,
n.v.: nevachamam (this yuca comes from Pichis
or Ucayali)
Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into
'Masato1 (cassava beer).
