Soto and Rosa Jimenez.
- Shrub, 3m; stem silver-beige;petiole green;
veins white; sepals burgundy/green, disc
orange, ovary purple; roots fusiform, surface
orange/brown, inner skin purple, pulp white.
n.v: gapamam or mammatar (gapa=father-in-law;
matar=big yuca)
Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into
'Masato' (cassava beer).
