Shrub, 2.5m; stem red-orange; petiole green;
veins white; sepals cream/pink, disc red,
ovary burgundy; roots cylindrical, horizon-
tal, long, surface color red, pulp yellow.
n.v.: santiagomam (brought from the chacra of
Santiago Soto)
Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into
'Masato' (cassava beer).
