3-4 yrs.
Shrub, 2m; stem silver-brown; petiole pink;
veins pink; sepals green, disc red, ovary bur-
gundy; roots cylindrical, horizontal, smooth,
surface color orange-brown, pulp cream-colored.
n.v.: osorromam (osorr=tree or parakeet)
Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into
'Masato' (cassava beer).
