Agricultural field of Rosa Lourdes; informant: Inez Francisco. Field flat, floods once every 3-4 yrs. Shrub, 3.5m; stem silvery beige; petiole red; sepals pale green, disc red, ovary green w/burgundy; roots conical, horizontal, short, surface color brown, pulp white. n.v.: rantomam (ranto=star) Use: Tuber is edible and can be made into 'Masato' (cassava beer).
