Notes: On flat or slightly sloping area in a broad boggy
creek bed in rainforest with Ceratopetalum apetalum
(dominant tree species), Elaeocarpus holopetalus, Fieldia
australis, Cyathea australis, Blechnum nudum, B. patersonii,
Leptopteris fraseri, etc.
Terrestrial fern 40-50 cm high with creeping rhizome or
rarely epiphytic on trunk of Dicksonia antarctica. Lastreopsis
hispida was the dominant fern species with L. acuminata
only occurring on moist slopes or creek banks which were
not boggy. Locally common. Voucher for chromosome
count.
