NW of Terebinto on road to El Hondo. Rolling, unconsolidated sandy soil, deeply weathered and reddish. Semi-evergreen forest. 17°41’S, 63°25’15"W. alt. 450 m. 2 m. tall. Flowers with light odd smell, visited by numerous ámall bees 1 hour before sunset of sunny day, and also by small hawkmoths. Coll.: M. Nee 44473 15 Jan. 1994 04081131
