Secondary forest. Dominated by Macaranga species, grasses and sedges. Low-lying swampy area over sandy soil.

Description
Tree, 5 m tall. Stem thin, pale grey-brown. Stipules upwardly pointing, caducous. Leaves dark green above, extremely bullate, woolly pubescent below. Stems solid, no ants. Twigs exuding red latex when cut. Staminate. Inflorescences light green, pubescent.
