Disturbed roadside vegetation. Shrub to 1 m. Leaves with
basilaminar glands. Flowers on branch tips with 1 per branch
opening in morning, fading by afternoon. Calyx pale yellow.
Corolla with 5 thin petals; straw-yellow at tips, throat bright
