The New York Botanical Garden Plants of BOLIVIA Euphorbiaceae Jatropha <vxo llisì ma (? DEPTO. Santa Cruz, Prov. Caballero, 5.5 km N of center of Saipina on dirt road to Chilon, valley of Rio Comarapa. 18°03’27”S, 64°36’13”W. alt. 1405 m. Arid thorn scrubland on slopes and brushy edges of irrigated fields in the valley bottom, with Ruprechtia triflora, Bougainvillea campanulata, B. berberidifolia, Capparis speciosa, Pereskia diaz-romeroana, Cleistocactus candelilla, Quiabentia verticillata. Shrub 2.5 m. tall, 15 cm. in diameter. Bark coppery, peeling and curling. Inflorescence green and reddish. Immature fruit green, winged. Coll.: M. Nee, D. Villarroel & O.
