(by road) W of bridge over Rio Pilcomayo. 21°13’25”S, 63°34’00”W. alt. 471 m. Dry forest with Anadenanthera macrocarpa, Acacia tucumanensis, A. hayesii, Synandrospadix vermitoxicus, Saccellium lanceolatum, Cochlospermum tetraporum, Loxopterygium grisebachii. Shrub 2.5 m. tall; bark coppery, smooth, with papery peels, almost identical to the bark of no. 54058 Cochlospermum tetraporum. With copious water-milky sap.
