quebrada El Amparo. Moist site.
Shrub, 90 cm. tall, with succulent
stems exuding a greenish latex. Leaves
papery, pale green, slightly glossy above*
Sepals of male flowers green. Petals dark
red. Anthers yellow. Fruits green, pale
brown at maturity.
