Sichuan Province, Jiulong Xian: Tanggu Xiang, NW of the city of
Jiulong at Wuxu Hai (Wuxu Lake) Scenic Area. 29°8'14"N,
101°24'47"E; 3665-4460 m. Gentle to steep slopes and adjacent
limestone cliffs and sandy scree slope. Dominant trees in forest on
slopes: Abies, Picea, evergreen Quercus and Larix, with evergreen
Rhododendron understory in places; soil surface mostly moss covered
and with dense ground cover of creeping Rubus. On side of moist
ravine. Fronds somewhat colonial from creeping rhizome. DNA
material available.
