alt., mixed seasonal forest on undulating land. Hat ground, very open
canopy.
Tree 30m x 47cm dia. Bole 20m, +/- cylindrical, twisting. Branching
sympodial, ascending. No buttresses. Baik pale chocolate brown, fairly
smooth, finely fissured to give flakes revealing smoother, darker bark
beneath. Slash red-brown, 8mm. Sticky white exudate. Wood cream. FIs.
sweetly scented. C yellow. Stigma and anthers pale yellow-white. Rubber
trees tapped by locals; their major source of income.
