Sichuan Province, Muli Xian: Border of Muli Xian and Yanyuan Xian
on E side of road (highway 216) between Muli Xian and Yanyuan
Xian. 27041’15"N, 101°13'28"E; 3190-3250 m. Mixed thickets of
Quercus and tali'(1-4 m tall) mixed Rhododendron, Osmanthus and
Salix on slopes..Area heavily grazed by goats and cattle and heavily
cut by humans. Around shrubs, under trees and in openings in forest.
Colonial from creeping rhizome, but many fronds sterile. Sporangia
yellow. DNA material available.
