Bolivia. Santa Cruz. Andrés Ibáñez Prov. Transition from subtropical semideciduous forest on old stabilized sandy dunes to the north and the northern limit of the chaco forest to the south, along new highway from Santa Cruz to Abapó, 9 km S of Río Peji bridge.

Habitat
Surface somewhat irregular, mostly cleared for pasture, with pastured original forest.

Description
Small tree, probably invading pasture. Leaflets seemingly wilted and folded, but a heavily overcast, cool day with frequent sprinkles and tree growing at edge of cattle pond. Fruit light reddish brown.
