Rimba Irian Golf Course, on outskirts of Kuala Kencana.
Undisturbed lowland tropical rain forest within and surrounding the
course with mixed species composition.
Altitude: 0010m.
Very common, mostly climbing small sapling trees 1 - 4m tall,
creeping from one to another via their runners. Occasionally on the
forest floor and on rotting twigs, sometimes suspended from its
runners!. Some plantlets (even very small ones) on the runners
soon become independant, the runner atrophying on either side.
Leaves dark green and glossy adaxially, with a slight blue sheen on
some, abaxially olive-green and matt. HERB ONLY
