woodland/grassland in sandy soil, sandstone and quartz rocks on slopes, with
Quercus fusiformis, Q. stellata, Diospyros texana, Prosopis glandulosa, and
Mimosa borealis predominating.
Purple flowers. Common in open, sandy field.
Lat. 30° 52' 28" N, Long. 99° 2' 52" W.	1580 feet elev.
