Description
Pileus 1.5-3.5 cm broad, dry, convex, heavily wooly tomentose, not squamulose, uniformly black, appendiculate at margin. Flesh white, staining red orange. Tubes adnexed, gray brown (6E4) up to 1 cm long; pores 7F5, up to 1 mm broad. Stipe 4-6 cmlong, 5-10 mm broad, equal, black wooly tomentose overall, less so above velar zone. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
