Chaco forest with Aspidosperma quebrachoblanco, A.
pyrifolium, Pseudobombax marginatum, Caesalpinia
paraguariensis, Anadenanthera macrocarpa, Schinopsis
lorentzii, Castela coccinea, Capparis salicifolia, C. speciosa,
C. tweediana, Ruprechtia triflora, R. apetala.
On bare soil of recent road construction, unshaded. Sap milky.
Prostrate and rooting at nodes, forming a dense patch.
