clayey sand atop outcrops of Reklaw(?) sandstone, along
edge of post oak - eastern red cedar - yaupon woodlands on
S fenceline of Hogan Ranch, ca. 4.3 airmiles WSW of jet. of
St. Rt. 304 and St. Rt. 713 at Delhi, at N29°47’42.0”,
W097°27’18.8”. Elev. 580 ft.
Vegetation characterized by Bigelowia nuttallii, Lechea mucronata and Plantago
aristata. Other associates included Ambrosia psilostachya, Baptisia bracteata, Bothrio-
chloa ischaemum, Centrosema virginianum, Chrysopsis pilosa, Coreopsis basalis,
Croton capitatus, Dichanthelium sp., Digitaria cognata, Facelis retusa, Helianthemum
rosmarinifolium, Juncus marginatus, Linum sp., Nuttallanthus texanus, Paspalum
lividum, Paspalum plicatulum, Polypremum procumbens, Pyrrhopappus pauciflorus,
Rubus trivialis, Sabatia campestris, Schizachyrium scoparium, Tephrosia virginiana.
