Euphorbia puSfeherrima (Graham),-Willcfi-V Boiss. in D.C. Prod., xt, pt. 2, 71, . Asuncion (*742). This fine plant is cultivated largely in the flower-gardens of Paraguay. I do not think, however, that, it grows wild in the country. It is a native of Mexico and Central America. It is conspicuous for the large showy red floral leaves, and sometimes grows 2^ m. high. It flowers nearly the. entire year round. The New York Botanical Garden Euphorbia pulcherrima Klotzsch & ft. L. BRITTON, PLANTS OK SOUTH AMERICA Collected by Thos. Mor®ng, 1888-1890.
