Freudenstein (BH), 1992 (also examined for Flora North America) Occurrence in 1953 as known from preserved specimens (#) in DAO, CAN, and ACADIA herbaria, and from sight records by D. Erskine or reliable reports (O). PLANTS OF PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND, CANA DA Corallorhiza maculata Raf. Bear River, Kings County. Mixed fir maple woods. Erect shoots from a mass of thick coralloid roots, fawn in shade, red-violet in open; flowers spreading in loose clusters; fruit reflexed, densely massed. No. 1982 Coll. D. Erskine July 15, 1953 A.J.
