Distribution
Herbarium of the University or California, Berkeley MONOGRAPH OF ASPLENIUM SECT. HYMEl Asplenium laetum Sw. This has the look of a hybrid and the sporangia seem collapsed. Of the species in the area, the most likely parents are A. abscissum Willd. X miradorense Liebm. Both are terrestrial and 1-pinnate. The rhizome is erect (unlike A. laetum Sw.). The putative parents are both known from this area: A. abscissum (Breedlove 31307); A. miradorense (Breedlove 31317, 31327, DS). det. A.
